Leeds coach Marcelo Bielsa may miss 11 players due to injury and Diego Llorente will certainly miss out due to suspension.
Sunday’s game is a pretty massive game for both the Hammers and the Whites, but for very different reasons.
West Ham are currently fourth in the Premier League table, two points behind fifth-placed Arsenal and four points over sixth-placed Tottenham.
And with North London clubs preparing to meet each other on Sunday, David Moyes will sense a real opportunity to create a small gap in the race for Champions League places.
Meanwhile, Leeds are 16th in the table and only eight points clear of 18th-placed Burnley despite having played two games more than them.

West Ham strengthened with Leeds facing the injury crisis and suspension before facing the Premier League
Leeds Live has identified some real problems for Marcelo Bielsa and his team ahead of their clash with the Hammers at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Argentine could be without up to 12 first-team players in a Premier League match in East London.
Liam Cooper, Charlie Cresswell, Calvin Phillips, Rodrygo, Jimmy Shackleton, Pascal Strwick, Joe Gilhardt, Tyler Roberts, Ravenna, Patrick Bamford and Junior Firpo are all either out of Sunday’s game with the Hammers or they are suspect.
With Llorente out due to suspension, Leeds will be weakened to the limit at London Stadium.
What a fantastic opportunity for West Ham to take four wins in the Premier League and really assert ourselves in the race for the top four.
This might be our best chance to beat the top four. West Ham face two games against Leeds and Manchester United on Sunday and Saturday respectively, before the two-week winter break.
Six points from those two games would really put us in a great position.
The Hammers have proven they have the Leeds record over the past two years, winning their last four matches against West Yorkshire.
With Bielsa’s side exhausted, battered and bruised, it looks like West Ham may be on the cusp of three more points in the race for the Champions League.
However, it will be essential that West Ham players not be too complacent. David Moyes will no doubt ensure that they don’t, but this is something you should be aware of nonetheless.
Leeds can still hurt teams in their day with their unique and intense style of play. However, with so many first-team players missing, it will be difficult for them to take anything from the game against the Hammers on Sunday.
