Morning, afternoon, evening everything. Well, we dealt with a hiccup yesterday, right? 12 to 3 calls for Bellerive to be stripped of test status, to Head’s Run-a-ball 100, to hand more The Cam Green Promise, and that constant questioning of what James Anderson could have done and what he would have done with it all.
In all, Australia finished with a score of 241-6 – a number that would satisfy most people after a full day of playing, yet this was achieved 59.3 times. Perhaps that wasn’t exactly what CEO Wicket had predicted before the match.
However, both teams are hoping to move things forward today. For Australia, quick rounds and England shooting under the spotlight, and for England, fingers crossed that the Bellerive wicket is fading, as is the local promise.
