Arsenal are still linked with Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, but could find it hard to land a deal in January with Ajax’s hot-shot Sebastian Haller being highlighted as another target.

Rio has identified Ferdinand Sebastian Haller as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic if Arsenal fail in their pursuit of the Serbian.
Arsenal are closely linked with the transfer of the Fiorentina star.

Arsenal are among those but may have to break the bank to sign the 24-year-old, who has 18 times achieved the term for the Florence side.
Should finances prove beyond that, Ferdinand believes Haller, a former West Ham United player, would be an excellent choice.
The Ivorian has rediscovered his best form in the Netherlands after joining Ajax for £20m.
He is currently the top scorer in the Champions League, setting a record 10 times in the group stages.

At Hammers Haller he scored just 14 goals in 54 games despite his massive £45m cost.
Since leaving the London Stadium, he has scored 33 times in 45 matches in Amsterdam.
“This is a club where I can compete in the Champions League and chase trophies every season, and the winning mentality is what suits me,” he told Ajax TV after completing his return in January 2021.
Mikel Arteta said he is “open” to doing high-profile business in the coming weeks as Arsenal try to add more firepower.
He said: “If he is the right player, we can afford it and we can do whatever we want, we will discuss it and come up with the best possible decision. We are open.
“I think with the amount of things and the way we want to develop the team, we have to maximize each window in many different ways.
“We are on alert. (Head coach) Edu and his team are working hard because we know exactly what we need to do.
“Whether we can make it happen in January or the summer is a different question and it’s about a lot of other things but we’re right there.”

Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are both free to leave when the season ends despite talk of new deals.
Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been suspended after committing a disciplinary offense in December.
